I tried to post this "multiple" times since I had trouble posting this image. I was doodling with Illustrator to see what kind of lines I can use - they're too thin to look good on the web, so I've learned my lesson! I guess this is as good as it gets...you can click on the image to see a larger version. I present you multiple flowers for this week's IF theme, "Multiple".

Illustration Friday: Theory
Here's my take on this week's IF topic, "Theory". I drew this in Illustrator to see if I want to use this idea as a part of a pattern design in the future.
I was thinking of logos of fish with feet on car bumpers and the theory of evolution. This fish is extra-evolved because it has an opposable thumb!

Illustration Friday: Choose
This week's IF topic, "Choose", reminds me of Super Tuesday that happened this week, when presidential candidates were being decided. I also felt like doing portraits today, so I drew the three top candidates: Clinton, McCain, and Obama. I'm sure other IF artists from the U.S. tackled this topic, too, since it's a major news - let's hope we don't have to choose by a coin toss in the end!

Illustration Friday: Blanket
Here's my take on this week's IF topic, "Blanket".
A "blanket of snow" sounds so peaceful and beautiful - I tend to romanticize the notion of snow. I was born in a subtropical island and grew up in Los Angeles, where only way to see real snow is to travel to the mountains in winter. People who grew up in snowy places tell me the toils and hardships of living with cold, icy conditions, where hot water pipes freeze...I guess I'm better off dreaming about snow and saving enough money to go snowboarding!
