Sketch of the Week: Angel's Flight and Historic Downtown

I enjoyed a historic downtown walking tour offered by Los Angeles Conservancy with my friends, and had fun seeing and learning about ornate buildings from 1920s and 1930s. I took some visual notes on interesting lamps and buildings - some were geometric, some were intricate, all very fascinating.

The orange building is a ticketing office for Angel's Flight, "the shortest railway in the world", which runs up and down the 298-feet track on an incline. Here is a sketch of them done earlier in the year.
