Los Angeles Food Truck: Dim Sum Truck at ArtCycle

I went to an outdoor art event called ArtCycle in East Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles over the weekend, and had a chance to try out yet another fusion food.

Since this event celebrates art and bicycle, there were many cyclists:

and two rows of food trucks - I sketched two yellow trucks that were parked next to each other:

and tried out Duck Taco from Dim Sum Truck (which is the lighter yellow/tan truck in the foreground of the sketch) - here's the photo of the meal, on top of my sketchbook. This taco was made with fresh corn tortilla, Peking duck with hoisin sauce and some lightly pickled vegetables. The sauce was sweet and the overall effect was pretty tasty.
