This is a scene from a food truck event at Heritage Square Museum in Pasadena. This outdoor museum has a collection of 19th century buildings like the ones I sketched at Castle Green nearby and the one at another food truck event at California Heritage Museum in Santa Monica. This particular building in the background is an old Methodist Church. It was a nighttime event, so I darkened the background in Photoshop after painting the rest of the sketch in watercolor.
Wow. That's good, Shiho. I like the photoshop darkened sky. It compliments the watercolor and sketchy lines. It sounds like a fun time.
