Sketch of the Week: Gone Sketching

An empty chair is fascinating for me to draw because I feel a presence of a person - someone who just stood up and left the seat, or someone who is expected to arrive. Here is an empty lawn chair in my neighborhood - it's almost as if the chair is waiting for someone to come back.
