Sketch of the Week: Spring Has Sprung

Spring has sprung! On the day of spring equinox, I decided to do a quick painting of wildflowers blooming in the vacant lot. I propped my sketchbook on a (very clean) trash bin since steady surface is necessary to do a painting. I came back a couple of days later and thought: hey, the trash bin is in the same place (since it is the kind that is attached to the sidewalk)...why not do a line drawing and compare the two? So I did another quick line drawing from same viewpoint.
