Sketch of the Week: Misty Morning at Venice Canals

I went on a plein air painting outing with local Drawn West group to paint the scenes at the canals in Venice, Los Angeles. The hazy marine layer did not lift until much later in the afternoon, so the even light and cool morning was ideal for painting outdoors.
