Sketch of the Week: 42nd Worldwide Sketchcrawl at Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)

Los Angeles sketchcrawl group went to Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) to take advantage of free-for-a-day admission and to sketch the exhibits. I sketched the two iconic large-scale installation: "Levitated Mass" by Michael Heizer is on top, "Urban Lights" by Chris Burden is on bottom.

We had a great turnout, and while a lot of people chose to draw the "lamps", plenty of us wandered throughout the expansive grounds and sketched various part of the museum - some even went to La Brea Tar Pits next door! Here is a glimpse of the sketches:
